Menstrual and Sexual Conscious Health and Education

WHY THIS IS IMPORTANT?
Conventional sexual and menstrual education has been fragmented, fear-based, and centered mainly on reproduction, leaving many women disconnected from their bodies, nature, cycles, and inner wisdom. Natural and beautiful aspects of women’s lives—such as menstruation, emotions, menopause, and pleasure—are often surrounded by negative beliefs that shape how we see ourselves and relate to our bodies and others.
As a result, menstrual pain, hormonal imbalances, infections, emotional distress, and unsatisfying sexual experiences and situations of abuse, have become normalized, even though many of these can be prevented or better managed through information, body awareness, and self-care and love.
Without self-knowledge and connection to our bodies, emotions, and needs, real consent and healthy boundaries are not possible. This program offers integral, accessible, and respectful education that empowers women to understand their own normality, recognize early signs of imbalance, and make informed choices based on knowledge rather than imposition or fear.
Menstrual and sexual education is not only physical; it deeply influences how we experience pleasure, emotions, boundaries, relationships, our place in the world and has a collective impact as well.
OBJETIVES AND BENEFITS
My programs and experiences focused on Menstrual and Sexual Conscious Health and Education, focuse to accompany women in a process of reconnection, self-knowledge and integration of their bodies, emotions, sexuality and feminine cycles, through comprehensive, respectful and embodied education, so they can inhabit themselves with awareness, autonomy and self-love, make informed decisions about their health and well-being, and contribute to a more sustainable and conscious personal and social transformation.
Some benefits that the particiants and the organization can integrate are:
-
To access a comprehensive, accessible and respectful education, centered on the female experience.
-
To be able to recognize early signs of imbalance and make informed decisions about their health.
-
To inhabit their body with confidence, to set clear boundaries and to live their sexuality consciously and freely.
-
To integrate emotional education, self-knowledge and self-love.
-
To remember and explore tools to understand and care for the female body in every phase, promoting long-term well-being.
-
Learn to adapt the external world to our internal rhythms, and not the other way around.
-
To promote self-love, compassion and resigny the meaning of being a woman based on their own experince.
-
To integrate tools to listen to ourselves, identify the needs, validate them and find resources to attend them.
MY METHODOLOGY
TRAUMA-INFORMED PERSPECTIVE
-
Safe spaces - only proposals and invitations.
-
Learning to validate and listen to our needs.
-
No judgment, expectations, or advice.
-
Learning to regulate and respect our own limits, exploring our rhythms and intensity.
FLEXIBLE & ADAPTABLE
-
Combination of different tools adapted to the needs.
-
Examples: meditation, visualization, somatic movement, breath work, dance, journaling, yin yoga and more.
IN COMMUNITY
-
We need the support of the community. We are social beings and need from each other to live.
-
Asking and receiving help and support is not a weakness, but a strength.
-
Together it is easier to remember, validate ourselves, and heal.
FEMININE PERSPECTIVE
-
Remembering our cyclical nature, intuition, creativity, playfulness and sovereignty of our bodies.
-
Re-signifying what is associated with the feminine as a form of activism, revolution, empowerment, healing and transformation.
EXPERIENTIAL APPROACH
-
Everyone has inner wisdom and knowlegde.
-
I don´t have the answers or the “Truth”. I facilitate tools and practices to remember our own truth.
-
We can validate what we can experience and observe for ourselves.
HOLISTIC AND INTEGRAL
-
We are body, mind, emotions, and energy, and these are not separate. We just separate them in order to survive.
-
This is a proposal to integrate all these parts of ourselves and live from a place of wholeness.
MODALITIES
Every organization, team and movement is different. That´s why I create proposals tailored to the needs, interests and resources of each organization. I´m based in Madrid (Spain) & Nairobi (Kenya) for in person options, available online worldwide, and open to travel internationally for in-person projects, workshops and collaborations.
These are some examples of what it could be interesting to your organization:
-
12- or 16-week program of group or individual sessions/workshops, held virtually or in person (if possible). Groups of 10 to 15 people.
-
Hybrid format: virtual sessions + 1 in-person retreat
-
In-person retreats on specific topics
-
Independent workshops with different themes, held virtually or in-person.
-
One-day event/retreat
I would really love to hear form you and know more about your project and what could serve to your team and purpose.
